Motorcycles with the Elswick name first appeared around 1911 from F. Hopper & Co Ltd in Lincolnshire UK. This valanced front mudguard suits the 1913 twin cylinder ‘Elswick’ motorcycles. It has a finished width of 95mm, Panam Hat style edges and full length valances with rolled safety edges. The riveted bracket at the nose protrudes thru the valance. There are also shallow fork clearance pressings in the guard edge and valance.
