/Velocette GTP valanced Front Guard by Vintage Steel
GTP Velocettes had a couple of types of mudguards. This version closely resembles the front guard of the MAC but with a narrower main blade. The finished width of this guard is 127mm (5”) with a large pressing for girder fork clearance. The half length valances are roll swaged into the rolled edge of the guard and then swept around the tail into an overlock join. It incorporates a hole and reinforcing plate for the front stand retaining bolt. There are optional front number-plate mount button pressings in the full length centre rib and a raised rolled nose.
