Rudge 1932 Special Rear #31-10W
/This deep C section rolled edge rear mudguard is made to factory drawing M4014/2840 for the 1932 Rudge Special. There are various versions of two-piece rear guards available for this period with this one being the external folded hinge type. This hinge is made of sheet steel in lieu of brass - for longevity. It has a riveted stiffening strap in the nose section, along with side pressings for toolbox and chain clearance. The tail piece has a step-down to allow for overlap when the hinge closes and a folded safety edge at the tail end. Our client ordered this as shown and re-install his original brackets.
