These beautiful 1920's vintage flat tank Norton motorcycle mudguards are copied from a collection of original samples. Custom made rollers were CNC machined and tested against a number of good condition original guards before commissioning. The pictured 'D' section front mudguard with riveted stiffener strap, riveted brackets and fork relief pressings is for a Webb Fork model, some variations might occur between models. Research indicates this profile was used by Norton from approx 1920 to 1932. Rear guards also available.
Price as pictured for Webb Forks #25aNORFF-3 (with fork relief pressing) AU$870

Yale Motorcycle Fender for 1914/15
This two piece hinged rear fender was introduced for the 1914 Yale models with deep sides added to the nose half. The finished width of the nose half is 4.5 - 4.75”, the tail piece is 4.06”. The nose half with wide centre rib and deep sides has two riveted reinforcing pieces at the frame mounting points and a cutaway section for chain clearance on the left. The tail piece with the same wide rib but without the deep sides has two riveted loop stays. The loop stays are held in the fender blade by shaped riveted retaining plates and joined at the lower end by rivets to a laser cut lower V bracket. The two halves of the fender are joined with a riveted hinge. Each piece is available separately.
Complete hinged fender as pictured AU$2590

Read MoreYou would be amazed at what we might learn from your old unrepairable rusty mudguards. It could be just the shape of a rivet head, the thickness of a rolled edge, depth of a pressing or more. We will gratefully receive your unwanted mudguards and fenders (if you know what bike they’re off) and don’t want to keep them. Rather than throwing them away, we can document all the little details and preserve the sample for history. This good deed might come back to you when you need a new guard for another project and we have the information you can’t find.
Here is a picture of our display board showing an off-cut of each profile we can currently roll (at June 2018). There may be a couple of off-cuts missing but you can see where they fit. The measurements shown are straight line outside edge to edge width x depth. Each profile is set by the rollers we use, but we have a small amount of latitude to adjust width and depth by up to 10%. If the profile you want is not here yet, please talk with us, we may be able to modify an existing one. If necessary, our tooling-up cost for each new profile is about AU$3000 so if you want pay that, or order more than 20, we can make your own specific profile.
