AJS & Matchless Tail Pieces 1949-55 #47-1,2,3,4,5

It's like shooting a moving target, these tail pieces seemed to change shape from month to month.  It has been tough finding any two samples that measure the same, but after some effort we have found a good interpretation of the changes through this post-war period. 
There are 5 different versions we now make, all of which have a folded tail end and are valanced.  Mis-matching tail pieces with different guards rarely results in a perfect fit so to avoid disappointment we no longer supply these as a separate piece unless you send your guard here for us to custom fit the tail piece.
1949 is short, duckbilled, hinged with no rib.  #47AJSTF-1 AU$xxx
1950 is short, duckbilled, hinged and ribbed.  #47AJSTF-2  AU$xxx
1951 and 52 is long, slightly duckbilled, hinged and ribbed #47AJSTF-3  AU$xxx
1953 and 54 is long, no duckbill, bolted (2 bolts) and ribbed #47AJSTF-4  AU$xxx
1955 is long,is long, no duckbill, bolted (1 bolt) and ribbed #47AJSTF-5  AU$xxx

NO LONGER AVAILABLE SEPARATELY, The huge variations in the originals mean that these tails have to be made to fit individually. We can either make and supply the whole mudguard assembly or if you insist on a tail only, we will need to have your nose end here so we can custom make a tail-piece to fit.
