Harley 1930-33 Front #52-5
/ Michael RockHarley Davidson Front Fender or Mudguard by Vintage Steel
This Harley fender section is 7" wide by 2" deep and was used on most models from 1927-34. This version is for the 1930-33 45”Twins and C singles with I-Beam forks. It has four fitted valance panels which are secured with 3/16 round head screws in specially made nuts as per Harley originals. It also has two riveted loop stays (braces) which have been left over-length to allow for perfect fitting to your bike. The lower laser-cut bracket and solid rivets are supplied loose.
A short note on the small lip on the sides of the fender: The width of this lip varies from sample to sample and even from one side to the other from just visible to 2.2mm (3/32”). The lip serves to stiffen the edge of these fenders and is an original feature. We have seen a recent trend among some restorers to grind this lip off completely. We aim to supply these fenders with an approx 1 to 2mm wide lip which you can modify as you wish.
