Reproduction Ariel Red Hunter 1930’s motorcycle front mudguard by Vintage Steel

Ariel’s classic D section mudguards with sharp centre rib were used for many years with only detail changes to influence the styling and minor practical changes to accommodate various mounting arrangements. This early 1930’s one-piece rear mudguard is made to suit a 1933 Red Hunter. It has the rib hand-flared into the long raised and folded tail and also a pressing for chainguard relief.
Note: The shaping of the moustache-like tail end is done by hand and will vary from one sample to another. The tail length got shorter as the years progressed.
