Matchless 1939 Model X Rear #47-1
/Reproduction Matchless Rear mudguard by Vintage Steel
The Model X V-Twin is a big luxury sidecar hauler with heavy and detailed valanced mudguards. This 2-piece rear has valancing both sides and a pressing for the chain-guard. It also has a rib which is interrupted many times with pressings for various fixtures. It has a full length riveted stiffener strap inside which has step-down pressings at the 2-piece join. The almost full length valances continue through the 2-piece join. As a final detail it has a raised rolled lip on the tail end. This finished mudguard / fender is approx 152mm wide.
