Alvis Speed 25 Brooklands Special Mudguards by Vintage Steel

Who’d have thought we’d ever get to make guards for another Alvis. These custom made guards are made to drawings and photos of a similar 1937 car supplied by our client. The optional custom riveted plates seen on the outside of the mudguard are there to reinforce the mounting points. These wide ‘C’ Section mudguards are to be supported from the car’s wheel hubs by heavy steel arms reaching inside the mudguards. The rear guards also have a duck-tailed end with folded safety edge.
