/AJS/Matchless Two-Piece Rear Mudguards for 1956-58 models
These ‘D’ section mudguards were used by AJS and Matchless for a number of years. This single-bolt-join model was introduced with the new frame for 1956 through to 1958. All versions from 1949 (no rib) -1958 (ribbed) are available. This two-piece rear mudguard is one of our most complex with interrupted full length rib, deep swingarm clearance pressing and chainguard and frame clearance pressings and cut-out. It has four spot-welded reinforcing plates, 3 shaped riveted or welded brackets, a tongue join, full length valances and a ducktail with folded end. We hand make them all here to order so if there is anything you want different to the sample, just ask.
