/Waverley Blank or Tapered Mudguard
The Waverley motorcycle was manufactured in the USA by the Waverley Manufacturing Coy in Jefferson Wis. It employed a distinctive leaf spring frame and fork arrangement with unique fenders. These steel fenders are tapered over their full length (Pics with Orange Backdrop). Starting with this Deep C Section blank at 4 7/8” wide and 2 1/4” deep (Purple Backdrop), they are then tapered in to ~3 7/8” wide and 1” deep (This tapering detail is subject to confirmation, please let us know when ordering if you have any measurements).
NOTE: Pics with Orange backdrop show a similar tapered version used on a 1914 Excelsior.
