/AJS 1920’s Valanced Rear Mudguard
This large C section rear mudguard is modelled on a V-Twin AJS motorcycle of the early 1920’s. The original sample mudguard has similar shaped valances but they were angled inwards toward the tyre and had a folded gutter along the inside edge. The valances on this new mudguard are copied in shape but left perpendicular to the mudguard blade with a rolled safety edge due to process limitations. The mudguard has a finished width of approximately 160-164mm and has a simple cut shaped tail The nose end has a chain clearance pressing which we have seen on one sample as a cut-out (your choice).
