Rover motorcycle Front Mudguard by Vintage Steel

This guard is made from specifications and pictures supplied by our client using a 1914 sample. Some small finishing details are copied from samples we have here. This guard starts with a 95mm wide panama hat style blade. The drive side valance has a belt cover added with a raised folded safety edge. The right side valance is made with raised folded safety edge and shallow rib then roll swaged into the rolled edges of the guard. A stiffener strap is riveted in, the guard is cut in two and a joiner plate is riveted inside. There are some variations in the samples of Rover valances and guard end shapes for this period, so if yours is different, please let us know.
