This panama hat profile fender uses the veteran Indian motorcycle profile. The 1916 powerplus models had this wide 4.4” (110mm) fender with side pressings for suspension clearance. There are four riveted brackets, a raised rolled tail and frame/chain clearance pressings in the sides at the nose end. The tail end bracket is a different shape allowing for a rear stand clip so the centre rivet is left out. This model also has the riveted stiffener plate which is inside the nose end at the swinging arm mounting and then has a ripple pressing across the crown.
