Rover motorcycle Front Mudguard by Vintage Steel

This guard is made from specifications and pictures supplied by our client using a 1914 sample. Some small finishing details are copied from samples we have here. This guard starts with a 95mm wide panama hat style blade with a folded nose. The full length valances are made with a raised folded safety edge and shallow rib then roll swaged into the rolled edges of the guard. Two riveted brackets are added. We now have three different Rover valance templates for this period, two are full length and one is half length. There are also some known variations in the shape of the cut tail end of this guard and the brackets.
