Yale 1913 Rear #18-1
/ Michael RockReproduction Yale motorcycle rear fender or mudguard by Vintage Steel
This fender is a copy of the very desirable 1913 Yale. The fender is a two piece hinged one where the two pieces are of different profiles which don’t match. This is a one year only mismatched fender which thankfully was changed for 1914. The one-piece loop braces are held by riveted brace retaining plates in the tail piece. The braces are riveted to a laser cut V Bracket at the lower ends. (NOTE: these V brackets can be supplied loose - unriveted - to allow for custom fitting on your bike. There is a cut-out for the chain drive models. The belt drive model (not shown) has longer bent stays/braces on the left side. Stiffeners are riveted inside for the frame mounting points. The nose end uses the American Stamping Coy (our #18) profile which has a finished width of approx 112mm, the tail piece (our #21N) is 104mm wide. This is ‘one year only’ fender for Yale. Earlier and later models are also available.
