Ariel Square Four Rear mudguard / fender by Vintage Steel

This Rear mudguard is a copy of the 1936-50’s rigid framed Square 4 and Side-Valve Ariel motorcycles. These 6” wide D section guards have the Ariel rib and moustache tail with duckbill. Our client for this one intends to fit his own original hinge and brackets, but these can be added here. The guard has valances fitted both sides and a chainguard clearance pressing in the drive side. Also included is the tube shaped pressing in this flat side for something we don’t know about?
Note: The shaping of the moustache-like tail end is done by hand and will vary from one sample to another.
