/Reproduction Excelsior Manxman Front mudguard by Vintage Steel
Rare as rocking horse poo, the Excelsior Manxman of 1939 front mudguards are thin on the ground. This mudguard or fender with full length rib, valances and skirt has a finished width of 140mm. It has deep fork relief pressings, a raised rolled nose, button pressings for front number-plate mounts and rib pressings for centre and tail mountings. The half length valances with raised rolled safety edges sweep around into a skirt with fold-over join and spot welded tabs fixing to the guard blade with a hole left for your front stand clip.
