/Ducati Mach 1 Narrow Front Mudguard by Vintage Steel
This guard is made to a clients specification using all the same details as we found on two good Ducati Mach 1 samples of 1965 and 66, except width. The Mach 1 samples we have measured in Australia are all 100mm wide, but this guard is made to a narrower finished width of 86mm which two separate clients have now confirmed as also found on Mach 1s in NZ and UK. This is the same as we found on a 350cc original bike so it may suit other models.
This deep C section front guard has a small bull nose and ducktail. (Some samples do not have the ducktail)
Because the guard is very close fitting to the tyre, you will need to supply measurements of the fitted and inflated tyre’s diameter and width. Please check the width of the guard you want before ordering and let us know if you have evidence of either version, see 100mm wide version #13-1N in links below. Don’t forget the rolled edge of the guard and any mounting bolts takes up space inside the guard near the tread.
