/Custom-made Indian Fenders by Vintage Steel
Our client wanted an Indian chief like look for his 741 model so we worked on a styling blend using Indian 101 profile fender blades at the 741 radius with a chief style reverse bend in the tails. There are obviously a few compromises required to make it work and frame clearances have to be calculated and estimated because the frame is 7000km away from the workshop. The custom valance shapes are then added and a sheet thickness step-out rolled in so when they are spot-welded on they end up with a flush finish. Here is the finished product.
