/Fender to suit 1917-22 Harley Rear by Vintage Steel
Harley Davidson used this 5.4” wide profile with wide centre rib for most models from 1916 to 1926. This is the one-piece rear mudguard/fender with two stays/braces which suits 1917-1922 models. There are frame and chain relief pressings and cut-outs to suit.
We have seen subtle differences in mounting geometry between samples so the two braces are riveted inside the fender and left over-length to allow accurate fitting in your frame. The original sample braces we have seen are 5/8x5/32 round edge flat bar (15.875x3.969mm). The round edge flat bar material we now have available for braces is either metric 16x3mm or 16x5mm. The photos below show the 16x5mm. The pre-drilled V-bracket and loose rivets are supplied for the lower mounting point.
