Puch 1951 Front #20-1

Puch Front Mudguard by Vintage Steel

This guard is copied from a client’s 1951 sample. We don’t have the tooling to make these in one piece as the originals were a stamping. This guard starts with rolling a 4.5” wide D section and ducktailing the end. A centre rib is added and valances are then copied and spot-welded to the sides. The tail ends of the valances are then twisted and welded to the guard. A raised lip is then rolled around the whole guard. Finishing includes adding Puch fork mounting brackets and fork clearance pressings in the sides. This is not how the original manufacturer made them and involves a lot of work we’d rather not revisit.
