Custom Faired Front Guard by Vintage Steel

This custom made guard was designed here in conjunction with our client to meet the Dry Lakes Racers Australia rules. With limits on arcs, width, height and tyre clearance the emphasis was on strength and legality. This guard uses a heavy steel blade with spot welded side valance panels stiffened by rolled and folded edges. It also has a fork brace style inside bracket for extra stiffness.
