Scott 1911 Rear #04-1

Veteran Scott Valanced Front Mudguard

Early Scott motorcycles used a popular British veteran panama hat style mudguard but added many styling features to distinguish them from others. This 1911 2-Speed rear guard has small tapered valances with raised rolled safety edges. The guard and valance are pressed in at the nose for drive chain clearance on the left. Two brackets are riveted inside the guard, one of which has horizontal wings to bolt to the carrier.

WANTED - Dead mudguards and fenders

You would be amazed at what we might learn from your old unrepairable rusty mudguards. It could be just the shape of a rivet head, the thickness of a rolled edge, depth of a pressing or more. We will gratefully receive your unwanted mudguards and fenders (if you know what bike they’re off) and don’t want to keep them. Rather than throwing them away, we can document all the little details and preserve the sample for history. This good deed might come back to you when you need a new guard for another project and we have the information you can’t find.

Our Profiles - Full List Below

Here is a picture of our display board showing an off-cut of each profile we can currently roll (at June 2018). There may be a couple of off-cuts missing but you can see where they fit. The measurements shown are straight line outside edge to edge width x depth. Each profile is set by the rollers we use, but we have a small amount of latitude to adjust width and depth by up to 10%. If the profile you want is not here yet, please talk with us, we may be able to modify an existing one. If necessary, our tooling-up cost for each new profile is about AU$3000 so if you want pay that, or order more than 20, we can make your own specific profile.
